On Thursday 13 March, selected students from the Granville South and Creative Arts High School Support Unit participated in the Winds of Joy program run by Making Waves Foundation. This is a not-for-profit charitable organisation providing an inclusive, safe space, designed to give young adolescences an empowering experience onboard a high performance yacht. Students enjoyed sailing around Sydney Harbour with the support of skilled volunteer sailors.
Special thanks to Mrs Jaitani and Ms Davidson for escorting the group to Rushcutters Bay, and to The Making Waves Foundation, Skipper Kathy, and to all the volunteer sailors for a great day out.
