Homework and assessment

Students are set homework after each mathematics lesson. Homework can be in the form of worksheets, textbook exercises or work set on mathletics. Each student is provided with a mathletics account and is expected to access it on a daily basis.

Assessment is ongoing in the mathematics faculty. Students get to demonstrate their understanding of topics over a number of tests, assignments, presentations and major examinations. An emphasis in the classroom is the setting out and presentation of working in each student's bookwork. This is an extremely important aspect in Mathematics. Students need to communicate their understanding of a concept by clearly setting out a solution to each question asked
