Leyla participates in 2024 NSWCHS State Rugby League trials.

Year 11 Granville South Creative and Performing Arts High School student Leyla Oueik recently took part in the 2024 NSW Combined High Schools Sports Association State Rugby League trials. This year was the very first time both schoolboys and schoolgirls trialled at the same time.

After three days of very competitive rugby league, Leyla just missed on the opportunity. Still, we’re extremely proud of Leyla's determination and drive. She is an incredible role model for women in sport.
