We are excited to share some kind words of our School Captains by Ms Julia Finn, MP Granville in Parliament:
“I acknowledge the outstanding young leaders from my electorate who participated in the Secondary Student Leadership Program at Parliament House on Wednesday, 7 May 2025.
“This annual program brings together student leaders from across NSW to engage with our democratic institutions, meet elected representatives, and deepen their understanding of leadership, community service, and civic responsibility.
“I was proud to meet with the impressive students from the Granville electorate, whose dedication, confidence, and thoughtful questions were a credit to their schools and families.
“I would like to formally recognise Sadia Yaseen and Yasser Jaberi from Granville South Creative and Performing Arts High School. These young people represent our community with distinction. Their commitment to leadership at such an early stage gives me great confidence in the future of our area and our state.
“I also commend the teachers and school staff who support and encourage these students in their leadership journeys.”
