NECA Pre-Apprenticeship Head Start Program

As part of the Educational Pathways Program, National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) offered a two-week Utilities and Electrotechnology (U&E) pre-apprenticeship skills course at their College in Chullora. 

Selected Year 12 students completed units of competency to gain skills and knowledge in the electrotechnology industry and earned credits for further learning. Our senior students were engaged in a lot of practical work, learning basic electrical skills and focused on the safety procedures that coincide with this very important role.
