First G CODE session featuring Australian Kickboxing Champion Shadi Chebib

First G CODE session featuring Australian Kickboxing Champion Shadi Chebib.

Our first G CODE wellbeing program session took place, featuring an incredible role model: Australian Kickboxing Champion and owner of Ultimate Boxfit Gym (UBG), Ultimate Meals, Ultimate Boxing Equip, and Sydney Energy Group Electrical, Shadi Chebib. It was a great success!

G CODE is a targeted wellbeing program offered at Granville South Creative and Performing Arts High School, aiming to redefine what it means to be respectful, resilient and responsible as an active student and a citizen in life.

Through structured sessions, students are challenged to reshape their mindset by introducing them to positive role models, teaching accountability, and helping them set and achieve behavioural, academic and personal goals.

We had the pleasure of hosting a real-life community role model and mentor in our first session: kickboxing and boxing champion, and owner of local physical fitness centres and other businesses, Shadi Chebib.

Mr Chebib connected with our boys by sharing insights into his upbringing and challenges, inspiring students to break free from negativity and take control of their future to achieve something remarkable. Shadi’s session focused on the importance of committing to discipline, respect and hard work, and making positive choices that build one up rather than tear one down.
